Safety for the "Smombie"

Traditional urbanism says "look both ways," but modern behavior says "look at your screen." Rather than fighting human nature, this design adapts to it. Ground-embedded LED strips that sync with traffic lights allow "Smombies" (smartphone zombies) to see safety signals within their natural line of sight. It’s a pragmatic, life-saving acknowledgement of how we move in the 21st century.
